Collecting a Drug Screen

Please note that instant testing devices (AKA POCT / Rapid Test / NexScreen Cups) CANNOT be used for DOT / Federal Drug Testing. With that information in mind following the same procedures of a DOT drug screen collection can be beneficial to collectors on how to handle Non-DOT collections. The U.S. Department of Transportation has a plethora of resources on how to collect a drug screen. One in particular is located at www.DOT.gov with an instructional video of a mock collection allowing you to see the proper procedures.
